Activities for the academic year 2019-2020
The
department of Computer science organized a guest lecture on “R - Programming”
on 02-02-2020 in A.V. room at 11:00 AM by Mr. A. Koteswara Rao, Assistant
Professor, CSE department, ALIET, Vijayawada. This guest lecture was organized to
III –B.Sc. (MPCs, MSCs, MECs) and III - B.Com(comp) students.
TECHNOMEET
– 2K20:
ü Department
of Computer Science organized a state
level technical event “TECHNOMEET –
2K20” on 7thFebruary 2020
at Auditorium, Maris Stella College. The chief guest for this event was Dr. Md.
Moulana, Associate Professor, CSE department, KL University, Vaddeswaram.
ü Vice
Principals Dr. Sr. Innasyamma , Ms. Anuhya Hannah and Mrs. S. Glory, HOD
Computer Science were the chief patrons of the event.
ü Students
from different colleges participated in different competitions conducted like
PowerPoint Presentation, Quiz, Technical Hunt, Coding and Decoding, Blind
Coding and Techy Suit.
ü The
chief guest Dr. Md. Moulana explained about “Machine Learning” which is an
application of Aritifical Intelligence that provides system the ability to
automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly
programmed. He motivate the students to upgrade the academic profiles by doing
globally recognized certification in different technologies.
ü Vice
Principals Dr. Sr. Innasyamma , Ms. Anuhya Hannah addressed the gathering and
motivated the students to make use of their full potential and technology
available at present to come up with new inventions. HOD madam addressed the
gathering by giving the importance of Technomeet 2K20, saying that such events
will help the students to build professional qualities required to face the
world.
